NAD+
Oxidized nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+), a dinucleotide coenzyme for redox and enzyme research.
Products are offered exclusively for lawful laboratory research by qualified personnel. Not for human or veterinary use. Not intended for diagnosis, treatment, cure, prevention, mitigation, clinical use, food, drug, cosmetic, household, or consumer use.
Product Description
NAD+ is the oxidized form of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide. Its structure contains an adenine nucleotide and a nicotinamide nucleotide joined through a pyrophosphate linkage. NAD+ participates in electron-transfer reactions through the NAD+/NADH redox pair and serves as a substrate for sirtuins, poly(ADP-ribose) polymerases, and CD38.
