Product Description
Melanotan II (MT-2) is a synthetic cyclic heptapeptide analogue of α-melanocyte-stimulating hormone. Its structure contains an N-acetyl group, a C-terminal amide, norleucine, and D-phenylalanine. A lactam bridge joins the Asp2 and Lys7 side chains. It is studied as a melanocortin-receptor ligand in receptor-binding and signaling assays.
