Product Description
KPV is a tripeptide composed of L-lysine, L-proline, and L-valine. Its sequence corresponds to the C-terminal three residues of α-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH). The free-acid reference structure is H-Lys-Pro-Val-OH; N-acetylated and C-terminally amidated derivatives are separate chemical forms. KPV is studied in peptide-mediated inflammatory signaling.
